As a Software Developer at Lunch24You, you’ll play a critical role in building and enhancing our core technology platform. You’ll be responsible for developing scalable web and mobile applications used by parents, school administrators, and vendors. This includes implementing AI-driven features for personalized meal planning, ensuring smooth third-party API integrations, and maintaining high standards of security and performance. Your contributions will directly impact the health and happiness of school communities across Canada
Your Duties:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain the core software modules of the LUNCH24YOU platform, including web and mobile applications for users, school administrators, and vendors.
- Implement AI-driven logic for meal customization, dietary analysis, and order optimization.
- Write clean, scalable code and participate in peer code reviews to ensure technical quality and adherence to secure development practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, implement system updates and collaborate on feature expansion based on user feedback.
- Integrate third-party APIs, including payment gateways, geolocation, and school systems.
- Ensure compliance with Canadian data protection laws and food service industry tech regulations.

Your Qualification :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Minimum 2 years of practical experience in full-stack development.

Job Description
As a User Experience (UX) Designer at Lunch24You, you’ll lead the design of intuitive, inclusive, and responsive user interfaces for our web and mobile platforms. Your work will directly shape how students, parents, and school staff interact with our meal ordering system. You’ll conduct UX research, build design prototypes, and collaborate closely with developers to bring your ideas to life. Your designs will help streamline food ordering, promote healthy choices, and create a delightful digital experience for school communities.
Your Duties:
- Design intuitive and responsive interfaces for mobile and web platforms used by students, parents, and school staff.
- Conduct UX research including user interviews, journey mapping, A/B testing, and usability audits.
- Develop design prototypes and wireframes using tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
- Collaborate closely with software developers to ensure accurate implementation of visual and functional UX components.
- Refine the user interface to align with feedback from pilot school programs and real-world meal ordering patterns.
